Are you encountering any error message when trying to burn media? It’s important to know what is happening. Please try the steps mentioned in the link http://www.askiyogi.com/hardware-peripherals-drivers/3830.html some other steps you can try is:

(a) Update the burner firmware from the manufacturer website.
(b) Try to use different media brand.
(c) Use slow speed while burning.
(d) See if any other software like a security software is blocking your burning program.
