On loading a DVD, the disc is shown as empty with 0 bytes. But the same disc works perfectly fine on my colleague’s laptop. Why is this problem occuring on my computer? Can someone help.

I have installed the Kodak drivers on the Windows 7 computer and can print via its USB port. I have the Kodak 550 printer connected to a home networked computer running XP Professional. The home network consist of 3 computers. The other computer running Windows XP can print via the network. When I try to add the networked printer to Windows 7, it shows the networked printer but says it cannot connect. It has an operation failed error of 0x0000000d.
