It is possible that the drivers on the disk are old and not compatible with Windows 7. You need to visit the manufacturer’s website and from the support page download the drivers for your printer model that is compatible with Windows 7 and then try to install it. If there is no Windows 7 drivers available, try to run the program in compatibility mode and see if it helps. Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Use an older program with this version of Windows.
