I just bought a logitech hd webcam c270h. And i put the installation cd in the drive on my laptop.The installation window pops up but theres nothing there, just a plain white box.

It is quite possible that the installed is not working or the software in the disk is not good or compatible. Try these:

(a) Download a good copy of the software from http://www.logitech.com/en-in/webcam-communications/webcams/devices/7205
(b) Disconnect the webcam if connected.
(c) Try to install in safe mode.
(d) Run a Windows update.
(e) Check if the antivirus software is blocking installation.
