Since the system originally had another version of Windows did you run the Upgrade Advisor and
check the Compatibility Center for the CD/DVD compatibility (and other devices as needed).

Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor - please run this now.

You can try to install the hotfix available at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976187 Try to upgrade the firmware of the drive is available.

I haven\'t been able to print with my HP OFFICE JET 4500 WIRELESS since I exchanged it approx. a month ago. I\'ve had on-line support helping but, to no avail. I now have experienced problems trying to open videos. I received an error message pertaining to 2107 and that the internet has shut down for unexplained reasons. I think it may have to do with drivers? Are the two issues interrelated? ( printer problems and rejection from the internet)

i bought fairly used asus notebook(asus a3a) from china but the window xp is on china language.i brought another hard disc and run window xp with english language.the problem is that this second hard disc do not have "sound".i have run AUDIO_XP_050926 and AUDIO_XP_051227 and yet no sound.please can any body direct me on what to do to get sound
