To turn that message off, You will have to open Outlook Express, click on Tools, Options and then on the Maintenance tab at the top. Look for the “Compact messages in the background” check box in the “Cleaning Up Messages” section and remove the check mark.

I cannot open the default profile in outlook 2007 since service pack 2 was installed on my vista ultimate 64-bit edition machine by windows update. I receive the error "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window." I have created a new profile and it works ok, but would really like to get the settings from the other profile.
