I use windows mail on windows vista. Lately, I have not been able to send mail. They all go to the outbox. I get the error message "Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', 'Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E,' 'Protocol: SMTP,' 'PORT:25,' 'Secure (SSL):No,' 'Socket Error 100060' " (Comcast being my ISP)

Please check the server settings for the e-mail account that you are facing an issue with.
Please try these settings instead of the current one
SMTP port number: 587 instead of 25
SSL encryption: Enabled
Restart the Windows Mail and check if you are able to send mails
If this does not help, try to delete and re-create the e-mail account using the settings given on this link:
