When I try to open a hyperlink in Word or Outlook, I get the error message ‘This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.’ but I am the administrator and I would never put such a restriction even if I knew how to. How can I remove this restriction?

This issue may be due to some missing Windows registry key. You have not mentioned which Outllok version you are using. Please use the FIXIT option in the link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310049 , open this link in the same system where you are facing the issue.
