Accessing emails in Outlook Express should be very easy if the configuration is done in the right manner. If you are unable to see email in Outlook express, don’t worry, I am there to help you out. After the below steps, you can show your friend that your outlook express too works! I guess from the question that you too need to configure gmail services. Correct me if I am wrong with the email service that you need to configure. To get Gmail in outlook express, settings need to be done, if it is already there, please cross check else please complete the following steps:
1Launch Outlook Express. Click on "Tools" and then "Accounts."
2In the "Internet Accounts" box, click on "Add" and then "Mail."
3Enter the display name for your account. Click "Next."
4Enter the Email Address for your Gmail account. Click "Next."
5Enter the following information:

8Now, you need to specify the Gmail server settings. Highlight the new Email account you have just created and click on "Properties."
9Click on the "Servers" tab. Under "Outgoing Mail Server," check the box that says "My Server Requires Authentication."
10Click on the "Advanced" tab. Check both boxes that say "This Server Requires a Secure SSL Connection." Enter the following information:
Outgoing Mail: 465
Incoming Mail: 995
11Click "OK" and "Exit." You should now be able to send and receive Gmail emails in Outlook Express
