When I tried to backup emails in Outlook, an error occurs. Please help me to backup my Outlook data.

Please try these steps to backup the Outlook Data.
a) Open Microsoft Outlook
b) Click on File
c) Click on Import and Export
d) Click on Export to a file
e) Select the Folders that you want to backup
f) Select the location where you want to have the backup
g) Click on ok
h) If the above steps do not help, try to copy the PST folder that has all the e-mail, contacts and other information. You can do so by following these steps:
• Open Microsoft Outlook
• Click on File
• Click on Data management
• Under Data files, check the location where the PST lies, or simply click on Open Folder to access the PST.
• Before you copy the PST file, make sure that you have closed the Microsoft Outlook
i) If you still get errors, run a scanpst on the PST file. To run a scanpst, follow these steps:
• Click on Start
• Open My Computer
• Open Local Disk C
• Open Program Files
• Open Microsoft Office
• Open Office 12 (For Office 2007) or Office 14 (For Office 2010)
• Search for a file by the name scanpst
• Double Click on Open it
• Click on Browse and navigate to the location where the PST File is location
• Click on Start to start the scan
• Once complete, close the scan and re-open the Micosoft Outlook
