Which email are you using any software that you use; you have not provided any detail about your email system. Please check these:
(a) If you are able to connect to the internet else check internet connection first.
(b) If you are getting any error message while sending emails, please mention it here.
(c) If you are using a mail client, check if the outgoing server is mentioned correctly.
(d) Check the antivirus software if it is blocking any email.
(e) Does your outbox have some email stuck with a large attachment earlier, first try to delete it.
