This is a following-up question asked yeasterday 11.11. About: a PSD-file which can not be opened anymore. I\'ll try my best to be more specific. I made a PSD-file in the Photoshop version called CS4. As I was informed by the previous answer the file might be corrupted. I would believe so as well, however as I choose the \'open\' obtion i Photoshop CS4, and just like in fx. Word, a window shows up and I can choose a file to open. In this window, however I can see a preview in a smaller window of what the PSD-file looks like. But when I try to open it, it starts reading the photoshop format, then stops and show a message saying: Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible whit this version of Photoshop. I find that very confusing since I used that spicific program to make this PSD-file and nothing else. And if the file was currupted, Photoshop usually can\'t show a preview of the file. I have tried a newer version of Photoshop but it gave me the same message. I hope at least a possebiity to print the file, if it is possible. The progam itself works fine with other PSD-files I've made. The PC: Every time I open it it says it can't read my profile settlings. Things happen like: my chosen background won't show up, the shortcuts is no longer there, and I can't change anything like leaving a shortcut in the deskshop, because as I open it again it is all removed, again. It is not a part of my question, but only an information. I thought it might have something to do with my problem.
