This can happen due to traces of old drivers that are still on the system:

1. Click ‘Start’, click ‘Run’, type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and press Enter. This opens the ‘Device Manager’.
2. Expand ‘Universal Serial Bus Controllers’ and right click and uninstall all ‘USB Root Hub’ entries and the entry for the WiFi dongle if it is listed anywhere (even under other devices).
3. Disconnect all USB drives and restart the computer.
4. Connect them again to check if they work.

I had one client complain that when he received an email, there was one image that showed up as a thumbnail/ it was compressed. all the other images were fine. no one else had this issue. we can\'t replicate it. any ideas as to why that one image appeared as a thumbnail for him?

It seems like every time I go online and download, something, watch videos and patch games on my computer it doesn't really load, for instance, when i go to download a video from online it starts off loading fast, then goes to a screeching halt and slow's down drastically. Now I just bought this computer like a week ago and no matter what computer I am on this is happening. That and on the PS3 i have as well. I have went ahead and disabled any firewalls and disabled my Antivirus' and nothing. still same problem. ESPECIALLY on youtube. It just simply will not load content for like 10 minutes.

Hi, as i said, Im a total noob in computer stuff- so i've come to ask you guys, and hopefully solve my problem. Sad to say, but i own a e9180f. of course, it always get that error thingy and blue screens and stuff- just like other ones that are out there. Problem is, i missed the lawsuit thing for refurb and i dont think i can expect any service from HP at all-.
