It’s very simple, if you are currently connected to the network, click on the network icon in the system tray next to time and then click network and sharing center. Then click on the active network which shows the connection name, a popup box will open giving connection details, there click on details and you will be able to see your IP address and MAC address.

I just bought a new laptop (a dell xps 15) and am having trouble connecting to my home network. The laptop can find the network, but when I enter the security key it does not allow me to connect. I know it is the correct key, as there are 3 other laptops in my household and all connect to the network with no issues whatsoever.
